I am from the opinion that sports games tend to be more exciting than the blood, guts and violence in the mature rated games of today. Exactly why do people believe to shoot people or cops, crash or explode cars or having a journey with the seedy underworld, is actually a necessity to enjoy a game? The feelings of excitement, the adrenaline rush and intense competition that games like NHL 2011, NBA 2011, and MLB 2011, for example, deliver more excitement inside a more positive way.

I purchase games which can be rated M– Mature, E–Everybody, and T–Teens. I won’t lie! I occasionally enjoy playing Call of Duty 4, Saints Row 2, Grand Theft Auto 4 and several others, however i always find my back towards the sports games. I was able to play them for a long time! The shear excitement and degree of competition keeps me riveted for the Hut 16 coins. I find myself yelling on the players for bonehead plays that I make. That’s how intense these games get me. Those other mature games i above mentioned are every bit as exciting, but tend to never get me to this point. They actually do have the ability to excite, but it’s a different form of competition, one that is not quite as intense or real.

The mature rated games still increase the blood, guts and violence to excite the gamer, where sports games are adding more real life abilities for the players. Case and point. At this point you have the capability to shatter glass with body checks, knock opposing devxqky81 in to the bench, knock helmets off, and so much more. Goalies are live now the very first time. This lets the goalie to make sprawling saves, get the crease crashed by opposing players, knock the internet off it’s moorings and lastly…Goalies Can Fight! If it doesn’t sound more exciting, then I am missing something inside the translation.

In summary, I would want to point out that I don’t dislike mature rated games. They already have their place with children over 17 years of age and adults, each of who are mature enough to appreciate that it must be simply a game. That life doesn’t play out just like a xbox game. But, for a more wholesome and positive type of excitement and competition, I believe that sports games tend to be more exciting than mature rated games.
